This Tekk radio comes with a long-life 2400 mAh Lithium Ion
battery pack as standard. Lithium Ion is a new battery
chemistry in two-way radios. They are not sensitive to "memory
burn" like other batteries, they last longer between
charges and are very light weight.

The X-1000 series is built to meet Military Specification
Standard 810 C, D, E and F as well as IP-54. The unit
has passed tests for high and low temperature, humidity,
dust, vibration and more.

The built-in voice inversion scrambling allows you to get
away from the busy “family channels” being used
in all the low priced consumer 2 way radios and to communicate
with a high level of privacy.
